Challenge

How many times have you wanted to make a New Year’s resolution to simply “read the bible more?” The problem for many people thought is knowing just how or where to start. And often after we’ve made the leap to actually start reading, we are sometimes left feeling confused about how the scriptures really do connect to our lives today.

In January and February at Cross Point Church we will be engaged in a series of conversations around the book of Proverbs in a new series entitled ‘PURSUIT: the search for more.’ During this series we would like to invite you to make a commitment with us to read the 31 books in Proverbs during the 31 days in January. You can visit this site daily or subscribe to it’s feed (RSS FEED or email) to get your daily proverb to read, and then utilize this site to post any thoughts or questions you may have about that particular passage. Each of the 31 proverbs and the discussions around it will be hosted by a Cross Point staff member.

We hope you will take this opportunity in the new year to not only begin connecting with scripture, but to connect with us and others in an ongoing discussion about God’s Word and what it means to each of us.
